History of the Temple
People of Hydereabad died in colossal floods that indundated
the city in 1908.The Nizam of Hyderabad Mir mahbub alikhan was exhorted by his
state head - Shri kishan prasad to offer supplication to the Goddess Mahankali
to save individuals from the catastrophe. The Nizam then visited the Laldarwaza
temple with jewel Tilak and offered pooja to the goddess. Post that the floods
went under control. Following their visit to the temple, the people strongly
believed that their complaints were addressed.
Arrangements are being made under the leadership of temple
committee chairman Rajender Yadav and general secretary Maruti Yadav to
organize the Bonala festival in a grander manner this year as well.
